Located on the ground level of the Treehouse, Hale Hapu'u is a cozy place to retreat to after a thrilling adventure at the park. The ample space in this room, makes it a perfect fit for traveling families or small groups. With one Queen bed and two twin sized beds, everyone will have a nice and comfortable spot to relax.

Enjoy your morning coffee in the enclosed lanai with a front row seat to the lush greenery native to the Hawaiian rainforest. Unwind underneath the cover of the Hapu'u ferns and spend the afternoon listening to the songs of the hidden birds in the trees. Gaze up and admire the magnificence of the strong Ohia trees that are in abundance on this part of the island.

The kitchen at Volcano Acres Treehouse is located on the second floor of the property. With views of the Hapu'u ferns and native flora and fauna you might just catch a glimpse of a native songbird as you prepare your meal.  The kitchen is included with a whole house rental, but can be booked separately with just a bedroom booking for an additional fee.  As an additional add on this is a shared space for all guests to use. 

​Encompassing 2 bedrooms​​​, the house can sleep a total of 7 guests. Enjoy some quiet time alone or join others in one of the outdoor seating areas or decks.  There is parking for up to 4 cars on site.

This private room boasts 180 degree views of the native rainforest. A private lanai allows you to sit overlooking the Hapu’u ferns and become one with nature during the day. At night, gaze up at the stars through the canopy of the Ohia trees and be inspired for your next day’s adventures. Get a peaceful night’s rest in our regal King bed with elegant bedding.  A sitting area is perfect for sipping a glass of wine while watching the rain or listening to soft music. After a long day of exploring the park the en-suite bath with shower is perfect for relaxing those tired muscles!  Emerge from your shower and wrap yourself in the warmth of heated towels.
